It seems like we have a holiday for love- including hearts and chocolate.
And then Americans have a holiday for fear, death, hate, and other evil. This time of year seems fun to many, whether it is fake murder scenes in the yard or grotesque masks.
But my heart recoils from the dark side. Evil in this world is real to me, and it isn’t hilarious.
Tomorrow, Abigail is planning on starting a three-week theme counteracting the atmosphere of Halloween. Tomorrow’s topic will be “God Delivers from Hate.”
I don’t know if some of you will have to go back to drive-in services. Our town has become a hot spot with many students being sent home from school. (Who knows the future?) Maybe you will end up needing a downloadable/printable.
We are planning on sharing Abigail’s three printables with you. Here’s the first!
(The song “I’ll Say, ‘No, World, No!'” is to the tune of “I’ll Say, ‘Yes, Lord, Yes.” I believe the first time I heard this song was when the group from Allegheny Wesleyan College sang it.)

Wow. This is a wonderful lesson!!! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Love this! So sick of Halloween!!! Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Even in the darkest night Jesus light shines bright. Praise the Lord!
