Spencer Johnson

Spencer and his dad got out of the family car. They had taken him as far as they could, and now he would have to hitchhike the rest of the way to Bible college in Oklahoma.
He clutched his cardboard suitcase, holding two pairs of pants and shirts. He only had $2.50 in his billfold.
Before Spencer’s dad got back in the car, he laid his work-worn hand on Spencer’s shoulder. “Son,” he said seriously, “I wish I could help you out. I don’t have any money, but I will pray for you every day.”
“And, Spencer,” tears came to his eyes, “just keep going. Just keep going. Preach, and don’t ever look back!”
…………………………………
Brother Spencer Johnson traveled and helped revivals until he was past 92 years old. Even when someone else had to drive him and carry his suitcase, he still held revivals.
He preached more than 75 years. Thousands of people will be in heaven because he minded God!
